Warner Bros. has not announced a release date for Hogwarts Legacy 2. The company only confirmed in an August 2026 earnings report that the second installment is in development.
Press speculation has pointed to a window around late 2028, based on the four-year gap typical of large open-world sequels and the time needed to expand the original's scope. A PS6 launch is widely speculated for fall 2027, which some analysts expect could align with the sequel.
