Hogwarts Legacy 2 is the officially confirmed sequel to Hogwarts Legacy, the 2023 open-world Action RPG that sold more than 40 million copies. Warner Bros. confirmed in an August 2026 earnings report that a "second installment" is in active development and expected to "meaningfully contribute" to future revenue. Avalanche Software returns as developer under Warner Bros. Games' Portkey Games label. A release date and platform details have not been announced yet.
